A true gentleman knows how to treat others with respect and dignity. He practices empathy, generosity, and patience; while bringing lasting value to every relationship. The Power of Being a Gentleman course will reveal the secrets every gentleman needs to know in order to gain the extra polish and presence needed for any situation.

This full-day program includes a multi-course lunch, training manual, and a complimentary 30 minute follow-up phone coaching session. Due to the amount of material covered, this course is limited to 20 participants per session.

Business today is often conducted over a meal where social skills are not only showcased, but imperative to your success. The knowledge to confidently navigate through a wide range of social and professional settings will prepare you to excel in your role in the business world, and help you avoid costly mistakes.

In a relaxed environment, participants will explore many of the elements involved in networking and dining: First Impressions, Introductions, Conversational Tips, Handshaking, Business Card Presentation, Business and Social Etiquette, The Art of Civility, Cultural and Generational Influences, Cocktail Parties, Tools of the Table, American and Continental Styles of Dining, and Presenting a Toast.

The Evening of Etiquette, will provide the skills and insight necessary to ensure confident social interactions and the professional savvy to set you apart from the crowd. The Power of Being a Gentleman – Weekend Retreat

Gentlemen know how to navigate any setting with polish and presence. They practice empathy, generosity, and patience; and treat all people with respect and dignity. This dynamic weekend will unpack the leadership skills successful men master.

Deborah King and Buzz Kolbe explore key competencies of being a man with class and courage such as: Meeting & Greetings, Verbal and Nonverbal Communication Skills, How to Launch, Linger and Leave a Conversation, Technology & Social Media Etiquette, Managing Moments of Conflict, Creating an Effective First Impression, Power, Presence & Warmth, Wardrobe Building, Essentials of a Great Host, Dining Skills, and so much more! Small group instruction allows for extensive one-on-one coaching. While this course is designed for adult men, young men 15 to 17 years old are welcome to attend with an adult.

Guests arrive at 3 pm on Friday and depart Sunday at 3 pm.

Register today with a $250 non-refundable deposit to secure your place! Final payment is due 30 days prior to the course.

The $995 course fee includes double occupancy lodging, multi-course meals, snacks, training manual, communication assessment tool, and certificate of completion. If you prefer one of the limited private rooms, there is an additional $105 fee.
